We develop, coordinate and manage facade repair projects. We work with condominium associations, building managers and building owners. We conduct forensic facade investigations and develop building repair and civil site repair project specifications. Our services include competitive bidding services and field observation services for building repair projects from inception to completion.
Since 2004 we have performed facade repair projects, terra cotta restorations, concrete and masonry repair projects, water testing and leak investigative projects, facade coating projects, parking deck and balcony membrane projects, parking lot and site work renovation projects, exterior painting and caulking replacement projects.
As soon as you have a problem (masonry damage, concrete deterioration, water leakage issues, failures in wall and deck coating systems, parking lot and site area deterioration, deteriorating caulking and painting systems, etc.) a professional engineer should be consulted before a contractor is contacted.
A professional engineer will have the responsibility to try and resolve the client's problems and they will have the client's best interests in mind. If investigations are required to properly understand the scope and magnitude of the client's problems the engineer is equipped to handle the situation. Contractors often have conflicting motives to immediately get work and maximize profits, which are not necessarily in the client's best interests.
A licensed professional engineer is bound by a code of ethics and has fiduciary responsibility. The level of expertise is based on experience. It is important that the engineer has extensive knowledge and years of experience in the type of project that is being undertaken. The client should always feel comfortable that they are in good hands with the engineer they are working with.
